Dr. Chappell earned a dual Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from Southern University and A&M Colleges and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University in Silicon Valley, California. She completed her American Psychological Association (APA) accredited internship at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) via Rochester Regional Health, an outpatient mental health and addiction medicine clinic that provides individual and group services to various clinical populations. As a predoctoral intern at RIT, Dr. Chappell also assisted in developing a program that uses behavioral health technologies to increase accessibility of services within the homeless population in the Rochester area.
