Dr. Timothy Calvin is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania. In his practice, Dr. Calvin integrates evidence-based techniques with a compassionate, client-centered approach. He strongly believes in the collaborative nature of therapy and strives to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to navigate their emotional and psychological challenges with self-compassion. His clinical experience spans various settings, including private practice, community mental health centers, and residential treatment facilities. This diverse background has equipped Dr. Calvin with a multifaceted understanding of mental health issues, enabling him to tailor his therapeutic approach to meet the unique experiences and needs of each individual.

Dr. Calvin specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, stress and adjustment related disorders, addiction, and interpersonal struggles, among others. His treatment approach utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness based techniques, and Motivational Interviewing. His use of CBT helps clients identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, while the incorporation of ACT based practices encourages a greater awareness and acceptance of their present moment experiences, enabling them to embrace their values and commit to actions that lead to a more fulfilling life.

Dr. Timothy Calvin earned his Doctor of Psychology degree from La Salle University in Philadelphia in 2011. In 2012 he became licensed by the State of Pennsylvania as a Clinical Psychologist (license number PS017320). In 2019 he became a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Dr. Calvin is also PSYPACT certified which allows him to provide telehealth services in participating states outside of Pennsylvania. In addition to providing direct care to clients, Dr. Calvin has held the position of Clinical Director at multiple residential treatment centers serving individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
