Background
Dr. Ahmed Adetola received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his Master’s and Doctor of Psychology degree from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Dr. Adetola’s passion for educational excellence and multicultural justice inspired his dissertation research on the academic underachievement of Black students and the role of racial identity.
Dr. Adetola’s enthusiasm for mental health and holistic wellbeing expands into his personal life. Dr. Adetola participated in a service trip to San Lucas, Guatemala that was focused on fighting childhood malnutrition, financially empowering locals through teaching them trades, and supporting the rural health aid workers. Dr. Adetola cares about the wellbeing of others, and he brings that compassion into his clinical practice.
